Public Works

Duties:

• performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled activities in constructing, repairing, installing, maintaining, and cleaning of the City park, buildings, streets, and water and wastewater systems
• provides assistance in the installation, repair and maintenance of the City’s water and wastewater systems, including water mains, water service lines, lift stations and manholes
• responds to emergency calls during normal and after business hours
• reports defects and irregularities to supervisor
• operates equipment such as backhoes, tractors, and various lawn equipment.
