WCA is now GFL Environmental. The City of Magnolia contracts with GFL to dispose of waste inside the City of Magnolia. 

All concerns must be made directly to the City's utility department first. Staff can inform when it is necessary to contact GFL.

In compliance with the City's Code of Ordinances:

Sec. 74-5. Solid waste collection for commercial and industrial units.

(1) Mandatory participation.
Every commercial and industrial unit within the corporate city limits of the city shall be required to utilize the garbage, waste and disposal services provided under contract by the city when such commercial and/or industrial unit is occupied. A commercial and/or industrial unit shall be deemed occupied when either water, wastewater, or electrical power services are being supplied. Each commercial and/or industrial unit is required to pay the city the currently adopted or hereinafter adopted amended fees for this services.

(2) Phase out of current waste services contracts. 
Commercial and/or industrial unit owner's who have contracted with another service provider before the passage and adoption of the ordinance from which this section is derived may elect to continue to receive service from the same service provider to the end of the current contract between the commercial and/or industrial unit and the provider. To make this election, the commercial and/or industrial unit must provide the city with a copy of the contract between the commercial and/or industrial unit and the waste service provider. Upon expiration of the contract with the waste service provider, the commercial and/or industrial unit must use the garbage, waste and disposal services provided under contract by the city.

Sec. 74-33. Violation: penalty.

Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of this article shall be fined a sum of not less than $25.00 nor more than $200.00. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or or which a violation occurs or continues.
