Don’t run the dishwasher without a full load.

Use the sink disposal sparingly, and never pour grease or foods with high grease content in sink disposals as grease causes damages to sewer lines and the sewage plants. Control of grease in the kitchen prevents clogged drains, which are costly to the customer. It also prevents clogged sewer lines, which increase the City’s maintenance costs. Grease is the number one cause of sanitary sewer overflows. Sanitary sewer overflows are unsightly, unsanitary and unlawful! The may result in fines to the City of Magnolia from Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Wash only a full load of laundry as an automatic washing machine use 32 to 59 gallons of water per load.

Use the lowest water level setting for light loads whenever possible.
