How to Apply for Water/Trash Service

Water Service Application Process

To establish water service:
   1. Complete a Water/Sewer Application (Español)
   2. Submit the following documents:
         * A copy of your driver’s license.
         * A copy of your General Warranty Deed or Special Warranty Deed (must include the property’s physical address).
         * Renting will be the same process; except we will need a copy of your lease agreement.
         * A signed and dated copy of the Utility Service Agreement must also be submitted.
           Customers should also keep a copy for their records. (Español)

How to Submit
   Email documents to utilities@cityofmagnolia.com.
   Or, deliver to City Hall before 3:30 p.m.

Water/Wastewater Deposits & Fees
 1. Security Deposit:
   - Homeowners & businesses: $200
   - Renters: $350

 2. Application Fee: $35 (paid with deposit)
    * A 3.5% processing fee will be applied to all credit/debit card payments.

Applications received after 3:30 PM will be processed the next business day. 

For Contractors or New Meters
If you are a contractor or require a new meter installation where none exists, email the above documents to utilities@cityofmagnolia.com and include the desired meter size.

Additional Information
Service connections will be scheduled as soon as the application and payment are received.
Applications are not accepted in advance.
