Magnolia Rising & GO BULLDOGS!

Construction crews have hoisted the tank portion of the new water tower on FM 1488 across from Magnolia High School.  When fully completed, the new water tower will add 500,000-gallons of elevated storage capacity to the city water system.  Since 2007, the city water system has had two water towers with a combined storage capacity of 400,000-gallons.  The new water tower will more than double the total elevated storage capacity on the system to 900,000-gallons.  Included for comparison is a 1926 photo (black and white) with the water tower that was used almost 100-years ago (tower on right side of photo).
