Vacation watch- For any resident of the City of Magnolia, we provide a vacation watch service to ensure that we provide you with an extra sense of security while you're out of town. After completing the fillable form and submitting to our office, the info will be disseminated to our patrol officers and they will then do daily checks of your residence. In the event there is an issue, we can then contact you or your emergency contact.
Civilian Observer- Any member of the community that is curious to see how MPD officers operate on the streets is welcome to submit a ride along form. This form will then be submitted to the supervisor over patrol and, if staffing permits, they will coordinate with you to schedule a date and time. Unless a supervisor approves more, the ride along limit is 6 hours.
