Council member Richard Carby was appointed on January 8, 2013 to serve the unexpired term of resigned Council member Chris Schod to May 2013.  Mr. Carby ran unopposed, was re-elected for another two year term on May 2013, was unopposed and re-elected May 2015, and was unopposed and re-elected May 2017, and re-elected May, 2019, and was unopposed and re-elected May, 2021.

Mr. Carby was re-appointed Mayor Pro Tem on May, 2019 and August, 2021.
